(Note, this was written at around 8 p.m. last night, so if America's open today, all is forgiven, but at this point, all is doubtful.)

But yes, once again, the government's going to shut down because the House and the president couldn't agree to a budget that would have raised the debt ceiling. Therefore, we don't have national parks, the Smithsonian, and other services that the government runs.

However, we still are going to get the mail today, and Obamacare will still go into effect. But that's what the Republican-led House wanted to gut and kill.

According to most polls, most Americans blame the Republican-led House - which now has a much-lower approval rating than that of President Obama himself - for the government shutdown. Since it's been five years since the Great Wall Street Disaster, it's sad to say that billionaire butt-wiping is still heavily in effect because of the House while we still see panhandlers out on the streets. And yet, all the House wants to do is kill Obamacare, kill Obamacare and kill Obamacare.

But you see, that's what I predicted when the Tea Party started this mess in 2010. They got all the racists out to vote and you now have this. I hope this will be a lesson in 2014 so we can fix the mess that was created three years ago. We need a government that works for the people, not against it.

But that's what you get, folks.
