It's official: Barack Hussein Obama did it.

Yesterday at 11:53 a.m. EDT, the president stood in front of Chief Justice John Roberts and took the oath of office, beginning his latest term as President of the United States of America. True, the *other* inaugural party's later today, but under Constitutional law, the president must take the oath January 20th.

I totally agree with many that Obama should have done his oath yesterday since people are out of work and so forth, but the what happens in Washington's out of my reach. Oh, well. Then again, with today being Martin Luther King Day, I think this can symbolize something the Civil Rights leader never got to live to see: a black man running America.

And unlike the man he replaced as president - who won't be at Monday's ceremonies as he's choosing to be at home in Texas with his ailing father - Obama's done a pretty good job as the leader of the free world.

As president, Obama made healthcare easier for millions of Americans, cut down on the wars Bush created and prevented America from going into severe recession. True, we're still far off from the Clinton years in terms of economy, jobs, oil prices and too many others to mention, a smart person can admit that not everything the Republicans created can get fixed.

Or can it?

Historically, second term presidents have had their problems. Nixon had Watergate, Reagan had Iran-Contra and the severe Wall Street crash, Clinton had Lewinsky and the second Bush had the Wall Street bailout plus the wars he created. It's my hope for Obama that the only problem that he ever had since taking over the presidency was the Tea Party BS of 2010 that cost his fellow Democrats their House seats. Most Americans now know that they were created by the 1% in hopes of attracting morons into thinking that Obama's the problem and not the answer. Hopefully by the time he leaves the White House on January 20th, 2017, Americans will get what they want: higher taxes for the wealthy, lower taxes for the middle class and the working poor being able to re-enter middle class status again.

I know, these past few days have been real sad for the right, but they deserved it. America spoke up and they lost. Besides, most Americans who voted for Mittens this past election were either rich, stupid or didn't want a black dude in the White House. Now, these people are in the minority, and the people who spoke up won.

Ladies and gents, let's raise our Blue Hawaiians for the man who will keep America strong for the next four years. All hail President Obama!
