If you're reading this before 7 a.m. this morning, you've been warned.
You might want to watch Good Morning America or CBS This Morning or even the local newscast your local Fox station produces (if they do so). Maybe if you have cable, you might want to give CNN, MSNBC or hey! Current TV now has The Bill Press Show in the morning now.
But be forewarned and forearmed, DO NOT WATCH THIS MORNING'S TODAY SHOW.
The reason? Everybody's favorite soccer mom's co-hosting the show.
Even worse: guess who might be anchoring the show, too!
You betcha! Sarah Palin is co-hosting Today with Matt Lauer while his usual co-anchor, Ann Curry has the day off. Plus, later on in the morning, Ryan Seacrest is coming in to make a "big announcement". Rumor has it that he's going to be a new anchor to the four-hour daily megacast which airs on most NBC stations from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Currently, Lauer and Curry host the show from 7-10 a.m. while the booze-induced fourth hour is hosted by Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.
There has been some drama on the show as of late, with speculation that Lauer and Curry can't stand each other and one might get the boot. If it's true that Seacrest might be an anchor for the show, it would also relieve him of some of his duties. Currently, Seacrest's projects include hosting a daily radio show on KIIS Los Angeles, hosting the weekly American Top 40 and yes, American Idol. Oddly enough, Palin is also a special correspondent for rival Fox News Channel, which makes me wonder why NBC wanted her in the first place.
But, what else can one expect from a show that hired one of George W. Bush's drunk bitch daughters to be their education reporter? Ya see, I love NBC for having the likes of Rachael Maddow and Ed Schultz on their staff, but come on! SARAH PALIN? Sorry, but this is one reason why I'm not usually awake at 7 a.m. in the morning. If so, I'd be giving my ratings to somebody else.
